Our group focuses on the design and synthesis of low-dimensional nanomaterials, especially two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals crystals and one-dimensional (1D) materials. We are interested in various physical properties, including electrical, mechanical, optical, and magnetic properties. Our research interests also include atomic-scale characterization of nanomaterials using electron microscopy, particularly aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
